I thnik these may be stewardesses or some sort of Eastern European
quasi-military group. If anybody recognizes the uniforms, please fill us in.

According to any married man you care to speak to, women _have_ taken over
the world. ;-)

Just the same, I'd also like to know what's going on here; they're gorgeous!

This looks like the fabled Soviet Special Forces Unit that was supposed to be
the first into battle if the Reds came over line in Europe. Their mission was
to distract the poor Americans before the rest of the horde comes storming out
of the East. Looks to me that it would have worked too....

They've already distracted the photographer, bottom-right. He's on
his knees and bowing down already.

Having ones papers checked over in Moscow University was as
distracting as this was, due to the floods of uniformed women like
this coming out from classes. I remember my Russian hosts words to
this day - "Come away, they know martial arts!"

I just want to know who they are - I wouldn't mind being invaded by any
country that would use them - talk about "special" Special Forces! <phew!>

I did notice that one of them was wearing different shoes - open around her
heel - so maybe it's some kind of show, rather than a military unit.
